Well it has been a while since the last newsletter and as usual it has been a very busy & eventful year. In November 2008 we opened our first retail outlet. Wow it has been great.
The response from our local community has been so positive and inspiring it has made it an absolute pleasure. It has been so interesting retailing after 8 years of wholesaling. Seeing the business from the two perspectives has been such an eye opener but I've enjoyed it immensely.
I always knew my product sold well displayed in the right environment. Opening in November was a great move as we were there ready for all the Christmas retailing. What a blast!
We didn't exhibit at the Melbourne trade show in August due to illness and were left with a warehouse full of stock. By January my warehouse was empty and we had to start sourcing products that complimented our own product, and after so many years wholesaling I knew exactly the products and the importers I wanted to trade with.
The shop has gone from strength to strength and we are looking forward to our new designs arriving in the next week.
My new designs were received enthusiastically at the Sydney February trade show so I hope you'll take a look and click on our catalogue page to see some of our new products.
